Inexpensive **Starter kit** for the production of **Drawdowns in commercial quality** . Designed for facilities such as **Paint shops and small laboratories** which only **little experience with the application of even films** have. This kit contains everything you need to produce smears in practical layer thicknesses, for samples or for tests.

The kit contains the following parts:

- **Drawdown plate** , aluminium, 22.9 cm x 35.6 cm (9 x 14-1/2 in), to provide a smooth, flat support surface (item DP-4)
- **Sealed, white drawdown charts** , 19.4 cm x 28.6 cm (7-5/8 x 11-1/4 in), box of 250 sheets, as a standardised surface, impermeable to water- or solvent-based inks (form WB)
- **Wire-Cator™ applicator** , 30.5 cm (12 Zin) long, 1.27 cm (½ in) diameter, coiled wire, for applying a uniform coating of approximately 0.09 mm (3-1/2 mil) wet film thickness (item WC-46)
- **Reception papers** 3 x 21.6 cm (8-1/2 in), pad of 250 sheets, which is placed under the bottom edge of the colour chart to catch the excess colour after application is complete (Form CP-1)
