LENETA - wood, plastic, fibreboard and aluminium-laminated cardboard
Wood, plastic, fibreboard and aluminium-laminated cardboard
In addition to the sealed and unsealed charts and cards, Leneta offers a Variety of materials as standardised substrates to.
The materials described here offer a Wide range of absorption, surface and other propertieswhich can be useful when evaluating a coating or stain.
Birch plywood panels
This type of hardwood has a light colour and an attractive grain, which makes it particularly suitable for colour matching and the display of stains.
Birch veneer panels
These panels are made of real wood laminated onto paper.
Upson Board - Fibreboard
Upson Board, also known as fibreboard, is made from recycled wood fibres that are pressed into a high-density board.
They provide a smooth, lightweight and rigid surface suitable for test applications of wall paint.
Aluminium cards: aluminium foil laminated onto cardboard panels
These are inexpensive metallic substrates that can replace expensive solid metal panels when appearance is the primary consideration.
The test surface has a high metallic lustre.
In addition to the lower costs, a major advantage over conventional metal panels is that they are much lighter and can therefore be stored more conveniently.
They are available foiled on one side and primed with a clear organic primer for better adhesion, as well as foiled and unprimed on both sides to minimise deformation during stoving.
Clear polyester panels
This clear film can be used as a substrate for the application of a coating and examined for transferred appearance properties, including colour, gloss and transparency, or placed over a black and white background to evaluate opacity.
It is also used as a protective film to protect a drawdown after drying without impairing visibility.
