TQC Sheen Pretreatment Test Kit (PTK)

The Pretreatment Test Kit (PTK) has been specially compiled for checking all relevant parameters during the pretreatment of steel prior to painting. The PTK is available as a BASIC KIT and FULL KIT.

The robust, double-walled case contains an intelligent selection of inspection tools and measuring devices that support the paint inspector when inspecting blasted steel parts.

• The BASIC KIT contains a Bresle test for surface and abrasive measurements, a Dust test kit and a Telescopic inspection mirror.
• The FULL KIT contains a large number of additional elements, as described in the data sheet. It is also possible to make a selection from the optional elements.

The quality of the correct pre-treatment of a surface prior to the application of the coating is crucial to ensure the quality of the coating and to achieve its optimum service life.
