The TQC Sheen Hardness Pen is a perfect tool for testing the hardness, wear or scratch resistance of materials on flat or curved surfaces.
The TQC hardness pen is a pocket device for testing the hardness and wear/scratch resistance of materials such as coatings, paints, plastics or similar products.
A tungsten carbide tip is drawn over the surface with a defined constant pressure. The pressure on the tip can be changed using the slider or by replacing the spring. A visual mark on the surface after using the TQC hardness pen indicates that the hardness or wear/scratch resistance is no longer given.

Standards
Each hardness test pin complies with DIN 55656 . In addition, results can be achieved that comply with ISO 1518, AS 3894.4, EN 438-2, SIS 184188 and company standards such as Bosch, Volvo, Opel and Van Laar.
