Opacity charts with a higher degree of whiteness

Versions with a higher degree of whiteness of moulds 2A, 3B and 5C are available under the product codes Form 2A-H, 3B-H and 5C-H respectively.

Moulds 2A, 3B and 5C have an approximate Y-reflectance of 82-83 %, which is typical for standard production and is used by most customers.

The shapes 2A-H, 3B-H and 5C-H have an approximate Y-reflectance from 86-87 % and are used by some customers who have found advantages in using higher whiteness charts. For most users, this slight difference in reflectance has no effect on the test results. In cases where the test coating is not applied completely opaque, an effect on the colourimetric measurements may be observed due to the higher reflectance of the white area. The higher degree of whiteness is achieved without the use of optical brighteners.

The size and packaging details for forms 2A-H, 3B-H and 5C-H are identical to forms 2A, 3B and 5C.
