Blasted surfaces may look perfect, but salts - one of the most damaging contaminants - are invisible to the naked eye. These impurities can be caused by a variety of different sources, from air pollution and a marine environment to contaminated abrasives. It is therefore important to assess the soluble salts before applying a coating.
