TQC Sheen Colorbox - Illuminated colour test booths

Developed by TQC Sheen, our colour testing specialist, these powerful colour test cabinets allow you to thoroughly test everything from printing inks and paints to plastics, cosmetics, textiles, knitwear, food, paper, dyes and much more.

You can use our multi-source lighting systems as illuminating colour inspection lights. Choose from a range of light sources that assess everything from gloss and metamerism to texture and damage.

Professional colour assessment

Our colour test cabinets are pleasing to the eye. Both the interior and exterior are manufactured to the highest quality and colour assessment standards.

TQC colour measurement booths are equipped with a 110V / 220V changeover switch and are very well built and stable. Our microprocessor-controlled colour test booths allow you to instantly switch between different light sources for colour testing. This simplifies switching between light sources for colour testing without flickering.

Accurate colour assessment

When it's time to change the lamps, our colour measurement cabinet will let you know. It correctly records the service life of each lamp group. For example, you need to replace the D65 colour test lamp after 2000 hours to get the most accurate results.

UV light for colour testing

Our colour test cabinet is equipped with a UV light source to examine samples that contain fluorescent optical brighteners or whitening agents.

Two daylight light sources for colour testing

The TQC colour test booths are equipped with D65 and D5000 daylight light sources, which comply with international testing standards including ISO 3668.

Colour assessment in interiors

To simulate indoor conditions, our colour test booths also offer incandescent light sources and "Shop Light" TL84.

How to use a TQC colour measurement cabinet

It's really easy to use our industry-leading colour assessment booths. Just plug it in, switch it on and press the button for the D65 lamp to light it up. You can use more than one light source for colour assessment at the same time - just select the appropriate buttons.

Next, place your samples in the centre of the colour test cabinet. If you are using the colour test lamp(s) to test two or more samples at the same time, it is best to place them parallel and avoid overlapping them before testing.

When you have finished, simply switch off the colour box using the on/off button.

Our timers for colour test chambers show you the total operating time of the chamber. At the same time, the total operating time of each individual light source (F, TL84 or UV) is displayed and recorded.
