TQC Cross-cut adhesion tester KIT CC3000

The Cross Cut Adhesion Test KIT CC3000 developed by TQC Sheen is designed to test the adhesion of dry paint coatings to their substrate by making a series of cuts through the coating.

These cuts consist of two rows of parallel cuts arranged at a cross angle to each other. This creates a pattern of 25 or 100 squares of the same type.

After a short treatment with a hard brush - with adhesive tape in the case of hard surfaces - the cleaned surface is analysed using a table.
