Fibro PGX+ pocket goniometer

The PGX+ measures the contact angle (dynamic and static), the surface tension and the surface energy. The device is used for paper and cardboard, solar panels, windscreens, metal cylinders and similar surfaces.

The PGX+ generates a drop in µl according to the set size. The drop is automatically released and 80 images per second are recorded.

Deionised water is used for most tests, but other liquids can also be used. Please contact us if you would like to use a different liquid.

Goniometer test analysis by experts

During the test, the device is connected to the special PC software. The software gives you a simple overview of the possible tests. During the test, the data is transferred to the computer. The images taken and the results can be saved and analysed. Thanks to the direct feedback, adjustments can easily be made to improve the results.

Complete goniometer test

The Fibro PGX+ digital goniometer is the ideal instrument for carrying out dynamic tests such as absorption tests. During a test, the device is connected to the computer. Our software provides an accessible overview of the optional tests and gives you full control. The adjustable parameters of the goniometer include droplet size, application method, start delay and sampling rate.

No preparatory goniometer tests

The Fibro PGX+ Pocket Goniometer creates a mini test environment on which you can place samples directly. This means you don't have to waste valuable time preparing individual samples.

The shape of the hanging droplet is registered by the camera alongside information about the intermolecular forces.

Pocket goniometer dosing device
