Spiral squeegee film applicators - 180, 230 and 320 mm
Spiral doctor blade applicator with a film width of 180, 230 or 320 mm and available in ranges from 0 to 300 µm.
The wire or spiral rod / draw-down rod applicator is ideal for applying a wet film to thin materials such as boards or plastic. It also works on flexible substrates and with motorised film applicators*. The high-quality stainless steel is not attacked by acids and bases.

Automatic film applicators AFA
Spiral blades with starting article number AB37... are suitable for the Automatic Film Applicators AFA Compact and with AB30... are suitable for the Automatic Film Applicators AFA Standard, which were sold from 2012 onwards. If you have an older model of automatic TQC film applicator, a different type of spiral doctor blade must be used. Please contact us for availability.
