The AFA Standard automatic film applicator provides a reliable basis for applying coating films evenly and reproducibly to charts, sheets or foils up to a maximum size of A3. Models with glass bed or perforated vacuum bed: single, double channel or heated.

Film-forming properties

Block and spiral film applicators
All our automatic film applicators can be used in combination with any standard film applicator.Block film applicator can be used, such as Bird- and Baker-models, or Spiral film applicators (wire winding rod). We also manufacture various types of Applicators for glass, paper or metal substrates and foils here.
Unique operation of the film applicator

The Triple I stands for "Intelligent Illumination Interface". This practical navigation tool guides you effortlessly through the user interface of our film applicators. It is an extremely intuitive operating system that is enhanced by information that is clearly emphasised on the razor-sharp display.

With its perforated, heated vacuum bed and the integrated heating mat our automatic film applicator allows you to adjust the temperature of the table to 100 °C above the ambient temperature to increase.
The Powerful heating device guarantees a Uniform temperature distribution over the entire vacuum plate.
